Consent to personal data processing

1. General provisions

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Personal Data" (dated 11.05.2010, No. 998-IIQ), this document sets out the terms of consent given by a person using the icode.az website, the my.icode.az client portal and other iCode services (the "Platform"; that person, the "User") to the processing of their personal data by iCode (the "Company").

By registering on the Platform, submitting an order or request form, or ticking the relevant consent box, the User confirms that they have read and accept the terms of this document. Consent is given freely, of the User's own will and in their own interest.

2. Personal data processed

• first name, last name, gender (to choose the form of address — "xanım/bəy");
• email address and phone number;
• company name, VÖEN (tax ID) and address (if provided);
• information about orders, subscriptions, domain and hosting services, and the owner details required for domain registration;
• balance movements, payment and receipt records (the Company does not store payment card data);
• support requests and correspondence;
• IP address, browser and device information, login history.

3. Purposes of processing

• creating the account, identifying the User and confirming the phone number by SMS;
• responding to requests and fulfilling orders and contractual obligations;
• connecting, managing and suspending domain, hosting and other services;
• sending invoices, receipts and service notifications (email, SMS, push);
• providing customer support;
• ensuring security and preventing fraud;
• meeting accounting and reporting obligations arising from legislation;
• only with the User's separate consent — sending information about promotions, discounts and news (which can be declined at any time).

4. Processing operations

Personal data is collected, recorded, organised, stored, clarified (updated, changed), used, transferred, blocked and destroyed, by automated and non-automated means.

5. Transfer to third parties

Personal data is not sold. Data may only be transferred to the minimum extent necessary to provide the service: to payment providers, SMS and email delivery services, domain registrars, hosting and DNS providers (including Cloudflare), and, where provided for by law, to the competent state authorities.

6. Duration and withdrawal of consent

Consent remains in force while the User's account is active and for any additional retention period required by law. The User may withdraw consent at any time by sending a written request through the support (ticket) section of the client portal. Withdrawing consent may lead to services being stopped and the account being closed; data that must be kept by law is retained until that period ends.

7. User rights

The User has the right to obtain information about their personal data and to request its correction, updating, blocking or (where there are legal grounds) destruction.

8. Other terms

Detailed information on how personal data is processed and protected is provided in the Privacy policy. The Company reserves the right to amend this document; the updated text takes effect from the moment it is published on this page.
