NS change: your domain is waiting to be activated

If your domain was bought from another registrar (for example, online.az) and we host your site, the domain's NS (nameserver) records must be changed to the servers we give you.

How to do it

  1. Open the domain in the «Domenlər» (Domains) section. Under the «Domen aktivləşmək üçün NS dəyişikliyini gözləyir» (Domain is waiting for an NS change to activate) notice, two nameserver addresses are shown.
  2. Copy them with the «Kopyala» (Copy) button.
  3. Log in to the panel of the registrar where you bought the domain and replace the current NS records with these two (delete the old ones).
  4. Save the change.

How long does it take?

The change usually takes effect within a few hours, and in rare cases can take up to 24–48 hours. When the domain becomes active, the notice disappears automatically and an SSL certificate is issued.

Things to watch out for

  • When the NS changes, all the domain's DNS records move to us. If corporate email runs on the domain, tell us its records in advance so your email isn't interrupted;
  • If you don't have access to the registrar's panel, contact the person or company that registered the domain for you.
