A slow site loses visitors and drops in search results. The steps that help most:
- Optimise images. Don't upload 5–10 MB phone photos directly; resize them to the size they're shown on screen and use the WebP format where you can;
- Drop unnecessary plugins. Every plugin means extra scripts and requests;
- Cut down tracking scripts. Don't use several analytics tools or chat widgets for the same purpose;
- Use caching. On WordPress sites, a caching plugin helps pages load faster;
- Check the mobile score. Test your site in Google's free PageSpeed Insights tool — most visitors come from phones.
If your site is on our hosting and it has suddenly slowed down, open a request — we'll check the server side.
