Fraudsters sometimes send emails or messages in the name of well-known companies to get hold of a password, an SMS code or a payment. Rules worth knowing:
- iCode staff never ask for your password, SMS code, 2FA code or recovery code. Refuse any such request, whoever it claims to come from;
- Only check payment details inside your account. If you get an email or message saying our bank details have "changed", compare them with the details in your account or write to support before paying;
- Look at the link address. Our client account is only at my.icode.az. Don't open similar-looking but differently spelled addresses (for example, icode-az.com);
- Don't rush to react to urgent messages like "your domain will be deleted" or "your account will be blocked" — check the situation in your account yourself;
- Domain and SEO "offers". Emails from unknown senders asking you to pay to "protect" a similar domain or for "Google registration" are usually scams.
If you get a suspicious email or message, attach a screenshot of it to a support request — we'll check it and reply.
